Newberry Experience - Wales

Tucked away in the stunning Welsh Cambrian Mountains, we’ve got something special for you:

Imagine 5000 acres of pure wilderness, where you can shoot a variety of steel targets from 50 metre to 1610 metre (1 mile away!). This is a hidden gem where adventure meets skill, and we can’t wait for you to see it.

You might start the day thinking it’s a long shot (pun intended), but you’ll soon get the hang of it. Reading the wind, getting a feel for your rifle – it’ll all come together quicker than you think.

What sets this experience apart? Shooting uphill, figuring out how shots change over water, and some of the best views in Britain to do it all against. It’s the perfect place to get to grips with long-range shooting, with plenty of challenges to keep things interesting.

To further enhance your day and help those less mobile there is a 6-seat Polaris Ranger ready to whisk you and your friends to even the most hidden corners of the range. It’s all about getting the full experience, comfortably and in style.

After a day out there, you’ll want a cosy place to kick back. The base, ‘Shackleton Hut’ is just that, with a welcoming log fire and plenty of hot drinks on tap. It’s the perfect spot to relax and chat about the day’s shooting with fellow adventurers.

It’s not just shooters who love this place. Even the folks from Top Gear and the Discovery Channel have had a blast here. That tells you something about how cool this place really is, doesn’t it?
